Shyam Mohan Promoted to Deputy COO and Continues as CHRO at Aegis Group

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, May 2026 – Shyam Mohan has been promoted to the role of Deputy Chief Operating Officer (DCOO) at Aegis Group, in addition to continuing his responsibilities as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In this dual role, he will lead both people strategy and operational excellence, driving organizational transformation, process optimization, and business growth across regions including APAC and the UAE.

Shyam Mohan is currently serving as CHRO & Deputy COO at Aegis Group, where he plays a pivotal role in leading strategic change, optimizing processes and technology, and aligning organizational capabilities with future growth priorities. His role bridges business strategy and execution, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and sustained performance.

Prior to Aegis Group, he served as Group Chief Human Resources Officer at Wadi Surgicals (ENLIVA), where he led HR strategy across a diverse portfolio of businesses including medical tourism, infrastructure, insurance broking, IT, FMCG, and senior care services. During this period, he drove workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and culture transformation initiatives across the group.

Earlier, Shyam held the role of Global Head – HR & Talent Acquisition Group at BroadVision, where he managed global HR operations and talent strategies across multiple geographies. His experience also includes leadership roles as Head of Human Resources at Optiva Inc., and General Manager HR at AUSY, where he led HR transformation and organizational development initiatives across international markets.

He also served as Human Resources Director at Satyam Computer Services Ltd, contributing to HR leadership across India and Europe, and began his career with XL Telecom & Energy Ltd, where he built his foundational expertise in HR development and operations.

Shyam holds an MBA in Human Resources from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and has recently completed a Doctorate in Management Studies in Human Resources, further strengthening his strategic and academic grounding in the field.
